Government Polytechnic Gadchiroli

Government Polytechnic, Gadchiroli was established in 1985. It was established with the aim of providing Technical Education in tribal areas. The college campus is spread over an area of 8 Hectare.

Government Polytechnic, Gadchiroli has been established Under Direct Central Assistance (DCA) community polytechnic with aim is to train the rural community of society in vocational courses and provide training on self-employment. Various activities are carried under this scheme such as Manpower Development, Socio-Economic Technology survey, Technology Transfer, Technical Support Services, Community Services, Information Dissemination.

This Institute is located at a distance of about 8 km from Gadchiroli city and about 4 km form Complex area. College provides excellent facilities and infrastructure. Campus has an Administrative or the Academic Building to handle all the official work. College has various workshops. College provides the facility of Boys Hostel with the capacity of 224 and Girls Hostel with capacity of 48 students. There is a Staff Quarters with the capacity of 101.  It is affiliated to Department of Technical Education & Board of Technical Examinations.
